With all the chaos in our country’s politics, I am constantly reminded of a quote from Adolf Hitler, “If you tell a big enough lie and tell it frequently enough, it will be believed.” Great, our country’s president is taking lessons from fascists.
Recently I read a post that stated we all needed to “act” like Americans. The post insinuated if you didn’t stand for the national anthem; if you burned a flag or opposed Confederate monuments, you weren’t “acting” like an American. I thought about that for a minute.
