2 days ago by aj.ameanderingmind Finishing the day on the back deck watching the rain clouds roll in. Cracked open a bottle of wine: Surprisingly good cab! Fruity and vanilla on the nose. Initially fruit forward with blackberry and plum, but mellows over a little time. Finishes smooth, although a little light for a Cabernet. Excellent value for a $16 bottle of wine. #wine #weekendwine #ncmountains

But as an American, it would be unpatriotic not to voice my displeasure and outright disgust at the terrible spectacle Trump made in Helsinki this morning. Echoes of Neville Chamberlain ran through my mind as our President stood next to Putin and sided with Russia against our own country. While the United States has been sliding for some time, this morning it slipped over the precipice. I am heartbroken in happened in my lifetime... #ashamed #heartbroken

…How does Trump KNOW that Russian meddling into the 2016 Elections didn’t affect the election’s outcome? Seems to me that fact would be impossible to quantify.

I am astounded by Trump siding with the Russians against his own country’s intelligence community. We have reached a low in this presidency I would have never foreseen. Republicans: your silence in the face of this event is DEAFENING.

Logic Doesn’t Work

Never bother to use logic arguing with a Trump supporter, it’s a Catch-22. If logic was important to them, they wouldn’t be supporting Trump.
