I admit these pictures are not the best I ever took.  They were all shot with my iPhone 4s, and the technology is far beyond that now.   You will also notice my wife is in a lot of them.  There is a reason for this.  Three years before this trip my wife was diagnosed with breast cancer.  Her treatment included four surgeries, chemotherapy, and radiation.  Her reconstruction involved two more surgeries and a lot of convalescing.  As you can tell by the pictures below, she is full of life and energy, enjoying this trip as a celebration for being cancer-free.  I often joke that she got all the physical scars from her cancer but I got all the emotional ones.     

But for her recovery and continued zest for life, this trip, and these pictures, will remain close to my heart.
