“The only person you are destined to become is the person you decide to be.” — Ralph Waldo Emerson
Life is growth. If we do not invest in our personal and spiritual growth, it is the same as dying. Before we seek growth in others, we need to commit to it in ourselves.

I haven’t written anything in a while, the “muse” just hasn’t been there. I recognize that is exactly the wrong way to write consistently. “I don’t work to collect money.” — Warren Buffett
If anyone should have a skewed perspective on money, it would be Warren Buffett. At the time of this writing, he is worth over 81 billion dollars. He eschews a personal cook and fine dining for a daily breakfast from a McDonalds’ drive-thru and lunches that typically revolve around burgers and cherry Cokes.

I haven’t been writing a lot lately. There is so much chaos in the world I can’t see the point. I’m struggling to say something with any value or meaning. I’m afraid I’m losing hope. Hope that we even want to have a discourse any longer.
